Comprehensible Yet Unfathomable
Monsoon - such a serene phenomenon!
The rains, the breeze and the birds
Chirping away on their quest to
One day span the whole entire horizon.
I woke up today to a rain
Feeling so full of energy,
More than confident to go out
And win a war all by myself!
It's funny, though, how the same rain
Can alter the ambience so discreetly
On different days.
It can make you feel melancholic
And so very gloomy -
And you wouldn't even know why!
Yet at the same time,
It can make you feel so centred and enthusiastic,
You'd feel as though
You were the young, ever-bubbly 'Bambi',
Or the carefree 'Simba' of his childhood.
How intriguing nature itself is!
And yet we go about discovering new ways
To only complicate our existence by a little more everyday.
One day we're learning trigonometry,
And another, we're learning calculus -
All of it on a hunt
To finally begin
To understand the ways of the world around us.
We shut ourselves away from the true world,
Confined within four-walled classrooms,
Trying to understand the world.
Is that how it really works, though?
Is that what makes us
The smartest species on Earth?
